Hello! I'm Charlene Lord, the creator of Black Woman Plant Chronicles, currently I reside in Tkaronto (Toronto), Ontario, Canada. You can call me Char or CharChar, if you're nasty. Well, not nasty but you can call me CharChar if we have been vulnerable with each other!

My Daily Whisper & Musings came about as a way to share my everyday thoughts and conversations I have with myself, you know, the questions you ask yourself about why something is the way it is or why we do that something they way we do it.

Summer of 2023, while I was visiting my family in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, every morning I would watch my Mommy walk to the patio window, speak to herself in full admiration of her in bloom portulacas, snap dragons, impatiens, petunias. lobelias, pansies, dusty millers, and a variety of herbs. She tended to her houseplants and balcony garden plants before she would make something to eat for herself. It was her way of self care, preparing herself for the rest of day and her form of meditation. In those moments, watching my Mommy, I realized she is My Muse and I have a similar morning ritual.

I am starting this blog to chronicle those silent conversations and periods of reflections I have with myself about everyday musings and whispers. My Musing & Daily Whispers.
